Sylvia Molgora is an Artist born in Guadalajara, Mexico. She has two citizenships, mexican and italian.
She studied Music at Music School, Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara.
Autodidact Painter, Author of many portraits, ink drawings and oil paintings.

January 2017.- Exhibition at Augenschmaus Gallery, in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany.
September 2016.- Participation at collective exhibitions with mexican artists residing in Germany, at Myers Hotel and The Ballery Gallery, Berlin, Germany, as part of the Mexico- Germany dual year events.
May 2016.- Exhibition at Mexican Consulate in Hamburg, Germany, in the "Long Night of the Consulates".

October 2006- Participation at the exhibition "Temple de Otoño" at Rombo Gallery, Guadalajara, Mexico.

2004- Participation at the XXII Premio Firenze, Florence Italy with an oil painting.
2001- Participation at the XIX Premio Firenze, Florence Italy with an oil painting.
1990-1995 Colaboration with artist Ismael Vargas, Guadalajara, Mexico.

The artistic productions of Sylvia, full of Symbolism, and charged with emotion, has evolved since she moved to Germany, incorporating themes and colour schemes from artists from this Region, like the Cranachs, Bosch, Brueghel, in addition to her usual predilection for the work of Remedios Varo.
